The Beatitudes in Poems

       The Beatitudes in Poems contains eight poems based on each of the Beatitudes spoken by Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount found in the Bible in Matthew 5: 1-12.  They describe how the human heart should be and how man should live his life.  Each poem in the book is accompanied by a religious picture or nature scene.

 

Visions of the Mind

     Visions of the Mind contains a collection of 60 poems on themes about life, war, religion, and romance.  Various poetic forms are used that include rhymed verse, refrains, couplets, quatrains, and the sonnet. 

     Readers will be interested in the variety of subjects included and will be able to relate many of these poems to their own lives.

The Ten Commandments in Poems

     The Ten Commandments in Poems contains 12 poems of 20 lines each.  10 of these poems are on each of the Ten Commandments with the other two being an introductory  and closing poem.  The Ten Commandments or laws for man were proclaimed by God to Moses and His children at Mount Sinai around 1440 BC after Moses had taken them from bondage out of Egypt.  They are the living laws for man as recorded in the Bible in Exodus 20: 3-17. 

Reflections of the Soul

    

     Reflections of the Soul contains a collection of 57 poems on themes about life, war,religion, family, and romance.  Various poetic forms are used throughout that include sonnets, rhymed verse, refrains, couplets, and haiku. 

     Readers will be able to relate many of these poems to their own lives.

The Crooked Road and More is a collection of 80 poems on the themes of life, romance, and religion. Its readers will be inspired by the vivid images evoked from these poems and will be able to relate many of these poems to their own lives.

A Time to Live and a Time to Die will inspire its readers through a greater understanding of God’s seasons for man as revealed by Solomon in the book of Ecclesiastes. It describes in poetry and rhyme the ever-changing nature of the seasons yet their harmony and purpose.

It will give children the answers and understanding from a Christian perspective on the why, where, and how related to the passing of a loved one. It is also intended to give children hope through their Christian faith for the future.

Pictures in Poems


Pictures in Poems is a book of 50 poems and 50 pictures on the themes of life, romance, and religion.  These poems in rhyme are ekphrastic in nature in that each poem describes a scene included with it.  Its readers will be inspired by the thoughts evoked from these poems and images.  They will be able to relate many of these poems to their own lives.
